Bitcoin has been the most popular cryptocurrencies that exists till date. However, the coin slid below $60,000. This marks the worst performance since its launch, it’s because the Bitcoin growth has been always amazing and mesmerizing. However, the largest cryptocurrency in the world is down more than 50% in the end of June and the news is really shocking to the traders and investors. In this article, I’ll be talking about the possible alternate Bitcoin predictions. So, let’s dive deep.
Why BTC Fell Below $60,000
While BTC is down more or less 52% from its record highs, analysts have noted that the decline has extended beyond the key bankruptcies that defined previous crypto durable markets.
Digital asset fund Strategy (MSTR) also helped ease market concerns by announcing on Monday that it had raised $1 billion to boost its cash reserves in exchange for buying more BTC, a reassuring sign to investors about the company’s solvency and profitability.
Compass Point analyst Ed Engel wrote: “Crypto cycles historically end with a spectacular blow up and MSTR was becoming bears’ leading candidate,”, adding more, “This cycle hasn’t had any major insolvencies related to leverage or fraud.”
Instead, Engle said most of the deleveraging is contained within decentralized markets instead of spreading to the broader crypto industry. The slowdown has been exacerbated by concerns about the possibility of a US Federal Reserve hike, and through a reduction in liquidity as the central bank tightens monetary policy.
U.S.-indexed spot bitcoin ETFs are set for their biggest monthly returns with their January 2024 release, with traders withdrawing more than $4.1 billion across all three funds in June, in line with Bloomberg data. David Grider of Finality Kapital Partners believes that bitcoin has not seen a bottom.
Alternate Bitcoin Price Predictions: Is a $40,000 Bottom Next?
“I think we’ve bottomed in September or October for bitcoin and most of the digital assets around it,” Grieder told Yahoo Finance on Tuesday. “I don’t imagine $40,000 or $45,000 was unreasonable,” he concluded.
